Roots is a personal project of a luxury interior design company specialising in sourcing bespoke fixtures, fittings, features, and furniture. Their clientele is wealthy, and are comfortable paying a premium for a premium service. As a result, the brand of Roots needs to reflect a high-end service and product.

CHALLENGES
Roots did not have a mission and vision statement before I began working on the brief; therefore, I had to create Roots’ brand identity from the ground up while providing collateral and web design as supporting materials. I suggested that having a mission and vision statement will be essential to facilitate both present and future stakeholders to understand Roots’ ideology and the objectives and visions they have set to improve luxurious and premium living. By analysing the brief and extracting the readily available information, I could implement keywords that would not only align with their mission and vision but also match Roots’ personality and speak to their audience.
THE PROCESS
In crafting the design process for the Roots brand, a meticulous approach was adopted, emphasising a warm and bold colour palette to evoke a sense of sophistication and luxury. Exploring other esteemed and luxurious brands played a pivotal role in shaping a solution that resonates with Roots' specific target audience and market. By studying the visual language and design elements of these prestigious brands, a refined and tailored aesthetic emerged, seamlessly aligning with the preferences and expectations of Roots' clientele. This deliberate and thoughtful process ensured that the brand's identity not only reflected a timeless elegance but also established a unique and captivating presence within the market.
